Anne Rose Petrillo of Mt Vernon and Southampton NY passed away on
November 15, 2016. Anne was born in Mt Vernon on April 14, 1919 to
Francesco and Carmella Bove. Anne married John Petrillo on September 14,
1940. Anne is survived by her loving children Joanne (Alex) Muccio,
John (Victoria) Petrillo, Frank (Elaine) Petrillo, Carol (Bernard)
Soumoff, Ralph (Mia) Petrillo, beloved grandchildren Eric, Laura Jeanne,
John, Jean, Sara, John, Dana, Matthew, Gregory, Luke, Alyssa, Patricia,
Jessica, Annie, Sophia, 15 great grandchildren, daughter-in-law
Patricia Petrillo and many dear friends. Anne is predeceased by her
husband John, son Anthony, brothers Joseph, Anthony, Guy and Ed. Anne
was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of St. Catherine’s Church in
Pelham and Our Lady of Poland in Southampton. Anne was known for her
being the best cook and had a passion for feeding everyone that came
into her home. She is the author of The Petrillo Cookbook. A celebration
of Anne’s life will be held on Friday from 4 to 8pm at the funeral
home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at St’
Catherine’s Church in Pelham at 10am. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre
