Born in Brooklyn on January 26, 1913, she lived there until 1950, when she and her family moved to Freeport. Ms. Tyler enjoyed her work in banking for many years, followed by retirement in Southampton, where she had spent her summers for more than 30 years.

Survivors said she will be remembered for her boundless energy and enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures. She loved to walk in her community, swim in Little Peconic Bay and cook for a crowd of visiting grandchildren.

Ms. Tyler is survived by three sons, Robert, John and James Tyler; her daughter, Ginny Rossetti and husband Stephen Rossetti; and nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Douglas Tyler; her husband, Ted; and two siblings, Ann Hogan and Tony Iarossa.

A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Poland Church in Southampton on Saturday, May 2, at 11:30 a.m., followed by interment at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Southampton.

Deepest sympathy to her family.  She will be remembered fondly.  May she rest in peace.
